Hong Kong

These images are from a trip to Hong Kong in 1996, the year before it reverted to Chinese authority. Much of the visit was accompanied by near-monsoon rains, leaving few opportunities for picture-taking. Two of these sets are from day trips to outlying islands, while a third is from a visit to the far side of Hong Kong island.

These images were scanned from old slides I took using a hand-me-down Minolta 35mm camera. The camera turned out have some functionality issues, though I didn't realize it at the time. airscapes home
