If Lamma was a stroll in the park, hiking Lantau Island was a whole different matter. Bigger, wilder, with a mountainous spine that promised spectacular views, at a cost. We elected to climb the nearer peaks, then descend to the road to catch a ride to Tai O harbor. We then visited Po Lin Monastery to see the giant Buddha that looms over the whole island. |
