Shanghai

Shanghai

I visited Shanghai for three grey, misty days at the end of my Hong Kong visit. I had imagined it would be a quaint seaport, and found it instead to be a huge, sprawling metropolis that just seemed to go on forever. My hosts and I also took the opportunity to take a leisurely drive to its nearest neighbor to the west, Suzhou, a city laced with canals and rivers.

These images were scanned from old slides I took using a hand-me-down Minolta 35mm camera. The camera turned out have some functionality issues, though I didn't realize it at the time.
