Kbal Spean - the river of a thousand lingas - is a an unusual site in the hills an hour's drive from Angkor. It features numerous ancient Hindu carvings in the surrounding rocks and in the riverbed itself. Supposedly the water flowing over the images would carry their spiritual blessings down to the farmlands below. |
